Facebook Photos get an Easy Drag and Drop makeover !!
Facebook just announced its series of tweaks in Facebook photo handling and high- res uploading feature much demanded by its user.
This Facebook makeover includes the ability to drag and drop the facebook photos from folder to the screen. You can also drag photos around in an album so you can put all the decent photos at the front. This feature is really amazing and will be loved my million of user around the Web who wished of this makeover for a-long time. Users requested Facebook for this functionality and the Facebook has delivered the wish.
Another new feature installed is high-res uploading. This means you can add high-res images to Facebook and print out a photo-quality version of these images from your photo album. There is also a better photo browser, which means a faster and better photo sliding feature unlike the Old and slow Photo browser we have.

Apple Fined for its much Appreciated Cover Flow:
Apple's Cover Flow Design has unfortunately stepped on the three major patents of Mirror World for which the Apple is expected to be fined $209 for a patent. Apple is now fighting against the US Judge probably to get a decision of patent infringement.
This cover flow feature is in use on the company's iPods, iPhones and Macs right now. Mirror Worlds claimed that the Apple was in breach of the three of them. So, the total fine to overcome would be about $600 million. I can't see Apple getting out of this and if Apple can't turn this round, it will be one of the biggest patent payouts ever in the America.

Bloggers denied by network bug..
WordPress suffered a serious network problem on 18 feb, which knocked more than 10 million WordPress blogs offline for 2 hours. Its was reported that the problem was caused by a core router change at one of its data center providers. Its was not a hack, nor a service attack. And all the datas were reported to be safe and blogs were ready to hit the track.
It was really a big let down for the blogger and the company apologies for the problem. The founder- Matt Mullenweg said it was the firm's "worst downtime in four years".
"I know this sucked for you guys as much as it did for us — the entire team was on pins and needles trying to get your blogs back as soon as possible."
"I hope it will be much longer than four years before we face a problem like this again," said Mr Mullenweg. (source - BBC News)
He also said the bloggers data were safe and the company would dig deeper to discover what happened and would work out a better plan to cope to the problem if the problem recurs.

Google introduces Social Networking- 'Buzz'.
Google takes on Facebook and Twitter and introduces its own Social Network called Buzz. Google has certainly shown its interest in these Social Networking popularity of Facebook and Twitter and hopes to gain profit from its own Social Networking service. It allows users to post status, share contents and view and comment on friends post etc. No new concepts in it but anyways Social Networking has been popular that way and this Buzz networking is certainly in its way.
Well, Google has certainly plans with this and it plans to capitalize on the number of regular G-mail users. As it has integrated this service directly with its e-mail service G-mail. So, the Buzz really has its future in my mind but lets see how the users feel.
Users already have found a lot of interesting features (especially for mobile users) in Buzz. I love it too. But there are still doubts about it killing Facebook and Twitter. But anyways do forget to try it out. You can see this service directly installed in G-mail.

Google hates Goojje
China has nearly replicated the world's biggest search engine with its own and named it 'Goojje'. Not only the name but it has almost copied Google's logo and have modified it a little. This Chinese Search Engine is the biggest native search engine and has been very satisfying to Chinese user. But despite of its popularity Google has not been able to resist its replica.
Google has sent a letter to this Chinese Search Engine with its view towards the site and hopes to end the controversies with its name and trademarked logo modified by Chinese Search Engine.
It has also been found that the site Goojje.com has not been using its original link (www.goojje.com) but its now redirected to www.dierqi.com.

iPad application- 'big and expensive'
iPad is now released in the market of UK, and is yet to show how it does among the fans.Apple lovers always admire the consoles it provide but what really impress them is the application it offers. So, for the proper success in the market iPad need to provide cheap applications.
That's what I thought !!
But it was announced that the iPad apps will cost more than our iPhone apps. Analysts said it would cost an average of £2.50(£1.20 for iPhone) per app.
Why is it so?
iPad is a purely designed new concept and perception of computing and it is rather incomparable with the iPhone. iPad applications are much bigger than the iPhones apps and are supposed to better too. And for what it provides is worth its price.
But still $4(£2.50) for each app is really a huge value. Lets see how market will tell its story.

Playstation 3 (PS3) is finally hacked..
The famous teenager George Hotz, who hacked the Apple iPhone, has now claimed that he has hacked PlayStation 3 (PS3) making it more flexible to run all pirated games and even the homemade softwares.
It just took him five weeks to do so but he has not posted the full details about this hack but thinks to do it soon.
PS3 was only the gaming device that was not hacked although it was in the market for three long years. But on an interview with BBC he told,"It's supposed to be unhackable - but nothing is unhackable,"
"I can now do whatever I want with the system. It's like I've got an awesome new power - I'm just not sure how to wield it."
So, its a good news for the PS lovers but as they always say 'Piracy is a Crime !!'. But if you are intersted to see the post of hacking the PS, leave your comment, and I'll do that for you as soon as the details are opened by the hacker himself.

Review on Nexus One, the google phone
Google now finally has released its first Android phone with HTC. Nexus One is an Andriod Google-branded phone and the Nexus One is actually called a stellar smartphone, easily the match of its peers.
Nexus One , quite rightly the superphone, is not just a regular smartphone, its probably the best Andriod phone yet in this planet. However its not that popular as the Apples iPhone but it sure has placed is mark in the market. Although Nexus One has this advanced hardware, making it more advanced in terms of Touchscreen and the Camera, its still can't reach the heights to iPhone because of its annoying qualities. ( source :Techradar.com )
Here are some special featuers of this phone:
Manufacturer : HTC
Display: Large OLED 3.7" (deep contrast and brilliant colors)
Features: Dynamic Noise Suppressions, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, Voice Enabled Keyboard
Price: $529 (uncloked) ; $179 (T-mobile plan)
The phone is available in the United States and can also be shipped to the UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Clearly Google has created this phone to rival Apple with its iPhone but it seems as if though the consumers are satisfied with their iPhone as the market clearly told why.

YouTube is easier and quicker
YouTube yet again gets a video makeover with streamlined video page, simplified ratings and better sizing. It announced its new look and says, "We're excited to unveil the first major example of our efforts to simplify and streamline the video page to offer the best possible watching experience,"
"To check out this new look all you have to do is opt-in. To revert back to the old video page, use the opt-out link at the top of the new video page."
"We'll be making the opt-in more easily accessible soon, but we wanted to give our most passionate users a chance to experiment with it early."
YouTube has considered the change for its better look (better sized videos) and faster playback. YouTube has always been popular and with this additional changes its popularity always seems to grow. Google understands 'YouTube' had problems and with these changes it seems to reduce them. I guess its better thinking.
Some Of The Best Features Added:
1. New video quality and player sizing controls and better functionality
2. Simplified ratings
3. Streamlined look
4. Search results within the page
5. Cleaned up actions bar
