Wi-Fi is direct better than bluetooth

New Wireless networking with better speed and range..

Wi-Fi Direct is a new wireless networking specification which will allow devices to establish simple peer-to-peer wireless connections without the need of any wireless routers or hotspot networks. It is a single-technology solution for  transfering contents and sharing applications quickly and easily among devices, even when a Wi-Fi access point isn't available.

Bluetooth is a virtually ubiquitous technology that have been used continuosly for wireless connection of devices like headphones, mice, Bluetooth earpiece. Bluetooth uses less power and also has very short range and slower transfer rates. But the all advanced Wi-Fi Direct will connect at existing Wi-Fi speed up to 250 mbps and has much better range. Wi-Fi Direct devices will also be able to broadcast their availability and seek out other Wi-Fi Direct devices like bluetooth. Wi-Fi Direct devices can also connect in pairs or in groups and with this device only one of the devices needs to be compliant with Wi-Fi Direct to establish the peer-to-peer connection.

What I personally think is that the Bluetooth's days could well be limited as its certain that this new product will outnumber bluetooth is every concerns.
