Facebook Tweaks its Homepage

A New Easier Homepage to work on

Facebook has more that 300 million active user world-wide and about half of them log in everyday. For many people, the site is becoming an important social hub for keeping up with friends and family. And in the hopes of making it easier to find information, Facebook has tweaked its home page. Facebook quite interestingly managed to display the missed events or feed by the user when they we off hanging.

When you chronicle into Facebook you will see what the site deems. The most motivating things that have happened in the past day in the  "News Feed". This could be photos, status, updates or other items. As has been the case before what Facebook deems attractive to you will be based on what updates are admired with your friends or how close you are to the one giving the update.

Peter Deng , a Facebook product manager said, "If the content has comments or 'likes' by ten of your mutal friends, its something that is important to you".

In other changes, facebook is integrating its 'HIghlights' future from the right hand side of the page to the 'News Feed' in the middle. The space of frees up will be used to future birth-days and events more prominently-something facebook says user has asked for.

And the site of restoring some futures it had gotten rid of, such as post on when your friends add a new friend or becomes an fan of a band or a celebrity.
