Google Includes a Social Search in its Lab

Social Search in Google Labs.

Google has yet again built in a new search service the user that allows user to check out the required public content from your friends and their contacts.

Need to search a public data given out by your social networks (blog, twitter and other social circles), well Google has it all. If you search contents on any blog on the Google search engine then I'm sure you will not get what you want. There will the many official and popular site recommendations for you at the top. So for this Google has improved the relevance of our search results with personalization and has created Social search that looks at publicly available data. With social search Google finds relevant public content from your friends and contacts and highlights it for you at the bottom of your search results.

If you do a simple query on any topic, Google Social Search includes the required information in your network circles on the results page under the heading "Results from people in your social circle for (your info) "

Social search builds a social circle of your friends and contacts using the connections linked from your public Google profile, such as the people you're following on Twitter or Friend Feed. You just need to be signed in to your Google Account to use this Social Search facility. If you use Gmail, it also includes your chat buddies and contacts in your friends, family, and coworkers groups and if you use the Google reader it will include some websites from your subscriptions as part of your social search results.

One thing I really found interesting was that you can also filter your results to see only content from my social circle by clicking "Show options" on the results page and clicking "Social". And it would only display the Information available your network circle.
